filtering paths for uploaded files?

Hi, we're currently debugging some features including file uploading functionality - we've noticed that parameter as displayed in the log file includes path, such as :
{ ..., "icon"=>#<File:/tmp/RackMultipart20101021-12556-9Hdtd#g-0>, ... }

while in exceptional, the same parameters are displayed as follows:
{ ..., "icon" : "#<File:0x94fx720>", ... }

(note: I munged the unique details in the above example)

I presume this is some sort of automated filtering that exceptional does automatically? If there is a reference for the sorts of parameters that are automatically filtered it would be very useful to publicize that.

    Hi Jon,

    That's not exceptional filtering, '#<File:0x94fx720>' is the standard format for File#to_s (and indeed for any ruby object).

    The only parameters that are filtered are those you specify in your rails app through filter_parameter_logging.

    I hope this helps!
