Same exception but different specifics

I had a file not found exception saying that the file couldn't be found in directory xyz. I then modified the code to look in directory abc but as it happens the file couldn't be found there either. The trouble is that the second exception was grouped with the first (which makes sense, of course - same exception, same line number) and still talks about directory xyz, with no mention of directory abc, and there's nothing to tell me that actually the details of the second exception are different. i.e. the directory has changed.

Would it be possible to group exceptions but still record the specifics of each one (I think Airbrake does this)?

    Hi Jerome,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I will ask the development team about a more advanced system of grouping errors together.
Thank you for the user evidence I have added your ticket as reference to my request.
Please let me know if you have any other issues in the mean time.

    From,
    Morgan
